Project India
The Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous.
Psalm 146:8 (NIV)
Agape Missions
We met Wesley in Nairobi this year at GMC Africa, and his passion to share the living gospel of Jesus with the most vulnerable communities in India was evident immediately.
Wesley and his family have been evangelizing and serving vulnerable communities for more than 30 years. Their ministry centers around four core tenets: evangelism, church planting, humanitarian projects, and persecution relief.
We see significant value in Wesley's ministry given these startling statistics out of India:
-
There are more than 30 million orphans in India, making it the largest orphan population in the world
-
More than 14 million children between the ages of 6 and 14 are not in the school system, exposing them to child labor, prostitution and sex trafficking
-
More than 220 million people in India are undernourished
-
There are more than 40 million widows in India
-
More than 700 million Indians live on less than $2 per day
-
Of the more than 1.4 billion people in India, only approximately 3% identify as Christian; most of the Indian population has never even heard of Jesus or his gospel
Wesley is actively out in the communities of eastern India serving the vulnerable and witnessing the gospel. We are seeking financial partners for the following projects with Wesley in 2025:
-
Print and distribute up to 1,000 Bibles per month ($6 per Bible)
-
Sponsor the Awakening Youth Conference and Arise & Shine Children Camp: $3,000
-
1 church plant per annum: $5,000
-
Care for five missionaries ($50 / month / missionary): $3,000
-
Scholarship for 4 students: $2,000
